BROCCOLI

WHILE SUPPLIES LASTS

  • Arcadia - Not Avail. 2026- 68 days, Cold tolerant, excellent side-shoot.

  • Belstar - 66–75 days. The Belstar variety is very adaptable and produces stress-tolerant plants. Not only does it develop a large, central head, but the side shoots produce numerous smaller heads. The florets are dense and a deep bluish-green. The largest heads can reach 6 inches (15 cm.) across. The plant also has great disease resistance. The tightly domed heads are held high off the plants for easy harvest. This variety has excellent field holding capacity and is ideal for both warm and cold weather planting. It performed so well in our trials that it would have been a sin not to offer it.

  • Di Cicco - 50 days, A traditional Italian heirloom variety producing small, avg. 3-4” main heads projected well above the foliage followed by a large yield of side-shoot spears. The flavor of this broccoli variety is mild but sweet and tasty. It can be eaten raw or cooked any way you would other types of broccoli. The smaller florets are even sweeter and more tender; they are best used raw. The baby leaves of the plant can be used like kale.

  • Eastern Magic - 62 days- Eastern Magic Broccoli produces high quality heads under fluctuating conditions with exceptional performance in the northeast. Heat tolerant plants produce high domed, 6-8” blue-green heads. We had heads that reached over 12" and then produced an amazing amount of side shoots.  For summer and fall harvests.  

  • Green Magic - 57 days, Heat tolerant.

  • Gypsy - 65 days. Gypsy yields smooth, well-domed, 8 inch heads with small to medium beads and excellent flavor. Reliable even in warmer temperatures, this versatile variety produces side shoots throughout the season once the main stem is cut.

  • Imperial - 70 days. With emerald-green heads perfect for bunching, crown cut, and processing, Imperial is sure to please! This versatile variety is tolerant of long days and heat, making it perfect for spring and summer growing in the north.

  • Jacaranda - Not Avail. 2026- 72 days, produces full-size heads that sport a unique purple color that's typically reserved for sprouting types. Excellent for a fall harvest, Jacaranda can be cut at full head stage, or can be left to open for floret or “stick” style harvests. This unusual variety is a cross of broccoli and cauliflower, bringing out the best of both crops

  • Marathon - 68 days, Highly productive, cold hardy broccoli that farmers and small scale growers rely upon for fall and spring crop production. Large, uniform central heads form on low lying plants (approx. 2’ tall), that once harvested give way to excellent uniform side shoots.

  • Packman - Not Avail. 2026- 50 days, Excellent side-shoot, freezes well.

  • Premium Crop - Not Avail. 2026 -58 days, Long lasting, produces many side-shoots.

  • Purple Magic - 90–100 days. Touted as the world's first purple-stemmed broccoli. With its rich violet hue and tender sweetness, this broccoli will steal the show. It performs very well in cool weather— becoming even sweeter after a light frost— making it ideal for coastal or northern regions. It shows purple stem and head, easy to grow, and is stress and heat tollerant. Plants produce sizeable dome-shaped heads that can weigh about 1 pound each. This cool-season crop grows upright to 30 inches and up to 20 inches wide with tight, uniform crowns and bright beads. An excellent easy-to-grow addition to any garden that is known to be sweeter and more tender than traditional green broccoli.

  • Tendergreen - 67 days, Wonderful early broccoli. 6-7” semi-domed heads are lighter weight than the later-season varieties. The medium-large heads do a good job of shedding water. Pleasing blue-green color, tender and delicious flavor. Modest 2-3” side shoots follow.

  • Waltham - 74 days, An old Northeastern variety producing beautiful, blue-green, 4-6” heads. Excellent cold resistance. Uniform high yields. Ideal fresh or frozen. A variety prized for its lovely dark blue-green heads and marvelous flavor. With large heads and long stalks, this lovely and adaptable broccoli can be planted spring and fall. Performs outstandingly in the fall.

BRUSSELS SPROUTS

  • Long Island Improved - 85 to 110 days, An heirloom variety that produces delicious 1"–1½" cabbage heads that grow tightly and densely against the main trunk of the plant. This is a very durable variety that can withstand cooler temperatures.

CABBAGE

  • Caraflex -Not Avail. 2026 -68 days, Pointed mini cabbage, sweet and mild flavor.

  • Copenhagen - 63 to 100 days, Danish Heirloom. This early variety forms round, solid heads (6-8") in diameter, making it the largest early round-head cabbage for summer harvest. Good Keeping Ability, Excellent uniformity, and rich flavor. This variety is outstanding for coleslaw. 3-4lbs.

  • Danish Ballhead - 90 days, Heirloom. A late fall and storage variety with medium-size heads of blue-green. Exceptionally good keeper with a pleasing flavor and texture. Great sauerkraut variety.

  • Early Jersey Wakefield - 60 to 75 days, Heirloom. This American cabbage is a favorite for early harvest, forming a conical, pointed, dark green head with a smooth, sweet flavor. The head is slow to split and slow to bolt. Holds in the garden for 2-3 weeks after maturity.

  • Red Ace: 70 days, the best early maturing red cabbage. Produces reddish purple heads about 3 pounds each. Resistant to yellowing and great for gardens with little space.

  • Savoy King - 80 days, Large, dark green heads have that classic savoy crinkled texture and sweeten up nicely after frost.

CAULIFLOWER

  • Cheddar - 55 to 60 days, Pretty Orange heads that are slow to bolt, heads measure 4-7 inches wide.

  • DePurple - 68 days, Stunning lavender-pink florets atop creamy stems hold their color when cooked and are rich in antioxidants. Uniform 7” domed heads are wrapped tight in big leaves for good protection. Very slow to head in cool weather, but does well in late summer and fall. Sweet nutty flavor.

  • Graffiti - 80 days, The Graffiti cauliflower has a fun, medium to large, true deep purple head with a great flavor! This variety is a large cauliflower plant with dark green leaves and it produces best in the fall. It can also be planted in early spring.

  • Purple Moon - 62 days, This super early deep purple cauliflower with tight curds will start forming heads before any other purple around. Reliable, purple cauliflower with short maturity that performs well in warm and cool weather. The flavor was great raw and amazing roasted.

  • Romanesco - 100-120 days ‘Romanesco’ has heads that are lime green with pointed, spiraled pinnacles. Light Nutty Flavor, In addition to its peculiar aesthetic, romanesco's appeal is its firm texture and earthy flavor. It is surprisingly sweet when cooked tender, like cauliflower but with a denser texture that holds up to lots of cooking methods

  • Snow Crown - 50 to 60 days, Snow Crown is always mild and sweet. It’s hybrid vigor and rapid growth make it one of the easiest to grow of all early cauliflower varieties. It forms fully domed curds in heads 7-8" across, weighing 1-2 lbs. This variety maintains its prime eating quality for up to 10 days in the garden. May manifest a delicate pink blush when maturing in the hotter parts of the summer.
